It is written in this article is not only a summary of the lecture, but also others' opinions and viewpoints.
Last week I attended a lecture on mindfulness, thanks to an invitation dinevibber.no. The speaker named Michael de Vibe and could tell that he had been doing personal development since he was 17 years old. During the lecture, he talked a lot about being aware and present in everyday life.
There were many who had turned up to hear what Michael de Vibe had to say. It was a very interesting presentation and content was very straightforward presented. Something that pleased me a lot because issues like this tend to be presented in a slightly advanced context for the rascal multitude, which means that the majority may feel that this "is not something for me."
The essence of the lecture dealt much of the gains is achieved by being present in the moment. The smaller the thoughts of past and future, the more you are present here and now. When you live in the moment, one is in balance and you do not tipped over to one or other of unnecessary ballast such as worry and negative thinking twice.
To live in the moment is not difficult, you can do it at any time by using such a focus on breathing. There are many techniques on the web if you are looking for, but I can share a simple exercise: Inhale with your nose and let the air you breathe walking down into the stomach. Feel how your stomach goes out. Notice the small space between the inhalation and exhalation, before then exhale with your mouth.
This is referred to breathe consciously, and you can implement about 30 conscious breath in daily life. On the bus, at work, at any time. One can also sit as in meditation. Michael the vibe used to meditate about 25 minutes a day, and that he did other exercises to make sure to keep the focus on the moment.
When one looks at the moment, your relationship to others better. Have you ever talked with others who certainly is not there? All you get in response is either "yes", no ", or" mhm ".
Many books, screenplays, photographs, poems and other creative work takes its roots from the present. Ever heard of the flow? When you do not think, but just do. Just as if the text appears by itself, or as if the brush on the canvas knows exactly how it should move. This flower can easily be interrupted by thoughts of past or future, so keeping the focus in the right place.
Michael de Vibe told us that we know we are thinking. Who knows this? Eckhart Tolle says this is the awareness that exists everywhere in nature, animals and other people. We have the ability to monitor our minds. This can easily use to our advantage when it comes to live in the moment. One can say to themselves: What is my next thought? This tends to quiet the mind for a moment. And often a moment NOK, because then you know what it means to be present here and now, and it will be easier to keep just the focus.
By being present do you get "out" of the head and you become aware. Aware of other things around you, when you become aware of things other than your own thoughts is like being weight up, especially if one has given much attention to their thoughts. We are not meant to live a life lost in thoughts.
Another thing Michael de Vibe talked about the value of the rest of the things you do. This means that the dishes all focus on what you do now. One thing at a time is the key to peace in a stressful workday.
