Sanskriti Shrestha is regarded as Nepal’s leading youngest female tabla player/Percussionist. She has developed an innovative style of solo performance, collaboration and teaching, and is the foremost female percussionist in Nepal.
Sanskriti Shrestha has performed in many musical concerts in Nepal, India, Norway, China, Australia and many other countries. She has played in many different festivals like Førde folk festival, Wood ford folk festival, øsa festival, Big day out and many others.She has also been giving workshops in both tabla and dance. For the past several years with her performance, she has been supporting the women suffering from mental disorders (at vocational training centre). She completed her music studies at the famous Prayaag Samiti, Allahabad where she graduated with masters in Music.
